Visitor tracking..

INTERNET MARKETING

Please let us know what you use to track visitors. Google analytics takes 5 minutes to check the simplest of things.

The counter should:

1) count visitors on every page!

2) NOT count me!

3) Count unique as well as overall!

4) Be free & reliable!

Is there an internet-marketer leading counter?

Please help,

Yes, StatCounter is one I've seen.

@Diego - many of us use Google Analytics, especially if we are tracking PPC and other conversion metrics. Do you only look at your log files?

If you really want a "counter" to put on the pages, I can't help.

But Google Analytics does everything you state you need and it can even email you the exact (canned or custom) reports you need ... every day / week / month.

It's the best in my mind.

Yeah G-Analytics is a very powerful beast, too powerful for just daily checking stats etc.

Plus I'm not sure how to stop myself from showing as a hit. I prefer using tools made for the job and don't think Googles strong point is tracking.

  I'm not sure how "tracking" is not GA's strength? And it doesn't get much easier than reading an email to get your "hits".
