What are great ways to send traffic to an ebook sales page?

Forums can definnitely work, but will not give you a ton of traffic and you have to pretty active as messages age out pretty rapidly

Articles and blog posts ranking for high ROI terms in the Search Engines are my favorite methods, this can take a few weeks to get rolling, but over time will build and build to work passively sending more and more traffic to your website

Operating your own affiliate program is the fastest way to get loads of traffic. Assuming you have an affiliate tracking capability (Clickbank, 1ShoppingCart, etc...)then you need only spend some time rounding up some willing partners and get on their schedules for mailings, share content with them on blogs, do teleseminars with them - whatever it takes

Operating your own affiliate program has it's fair share of minuses. It's not something you should do with the first rendition of your sales page. Because if your sales page doesn't convert guess who's not going to stick around? Your affiliates, and they're not comin' back. Neither are the dollars that you spent on banner creation, newsletter posts, or the time you spent promoting the affiliate program itself.

Some products just don't fair well with affiliate programs, so traffic from their affiliates winds up being empty calories. As where others like 'make money online' products live and die by their affiliates. Build backlinks using forums and blogs related to yorue niche and do it big with a dedicated team offshore. You can get what youre looking for pretty cheap, about $400 and it will continue to drive lots of traffic but more importantly help you get ranked on youre keywords. Heres some tips when dealing with an offshore team.

1. Link Diversity - Make sure you have youre team create links on social bookmarking sites, Relevant sites with good PR Value, Articles on Article submission directories, Blog and Forum commenting and Lots of Sig Links.
2. Anchor Text - Make sure youre links contain anchor text with the keywords you are wanting to get ranked on. This will help google index youre website on multiple keyword strings from the types of links you create.
3. Keyword Variation - When creating anchor text, vary the keywords you use with filler text and plural variations. This will help you get ranked on a wider variety of keywords. Misspellings can also be beneficial and get you lots of great traffic.
4. Manage your team closely - ODesk is great but you need to be very clear about what you want in youre links and the types of link and diversity you are looking for.
5. Keyword Research - Make sure you do a lot of keyword research before you have a team of people work on youre project. The great thing about working with an offshore team is that you can get someone to work for .99 cents per hour and get great results.
