What Puts You Off...?

Promoting web-companies which give commission on physical goods?

We all know affiliates are the bread and butter of the majority of web based companies, but we also know that 90% of affiliates that may sign up to your campaign won't be active or won't make a sale.

So, what happens when you hit a brick wall?

You have used up all the resources you can think of to attract those affiliates who enjoy promoting web-companies which offer physical goods.

And, why do the majority of affiliates steer clear from these types of offers?

Throughout my experience, I have noticed that many web-based companies offering physical products have higher conversion rates, lower refund rates, more reputable and easier to promote.

So, I ask again, why do you steer clear?

What would make promoting a company such as Groupon more attractive to you?

Very interested in hearing your answers, thank you.

Simple. If your product is crap, the conversion rates will be crap, it won't be long till the affiliates think the same and abandon the crap company and move to other companies.

You are right, physical goods tend to have a higher conversion rates. Refunds still varies from the quality.
