question for amazon experts!

Do you think it is bad to go after niches where there are a lot of products that are selling a lot (many customer reviews) that are high priced, when there are also many of the same products that are selling a lot that are low priced.

For example if I choose apples, is it a bad niche if there are many apples that sell for 600 dollars and have many customer reviews , but there are also many apples that sell for 50 dollars and have many customer reviews?

I am thinking that maybe all my traffic will just go in and choose the cheap ones even though I have only reviewed the expensive ones?

If people are buying apples, people are buying apples. Some will buy expensive apples some will buy cheap apples, some people will buy a cox some a granny smith. Why not have a site focussed on $600 granny smiths and one focused on $10 cooking apples

Only a small percentage of buyers buy exclusively on
price. Keep on reviewing the more expensive products,
you'll sell less but more up for it in higher commissions.
