Split screen video interviews

I've been looking at doing split screen video interviews. There are several options to do this out there. I know there's a Skype tool. Anyone doing this who'd like to share what you're using to record the videos and talk about the cost, degree of difficulty, quality and reliability of the solution you're using?

You can do this quite well with iChat and Screenflow HD on the mac.

Hmmm, that leads to another question. If I have a PC and my interviewee has a Mac, what then?

Irrelevant if both are using the same communications protocol.

Different software can use the same protocol.
