Inserting and positioning images

5 replies
Good Day To You All!

I am seeking for advice on how to place 2 photos/pictures side by side on my web page.

I tried several times to inserts the second picture at the right side of the first one but they are ending with one on top of the other. This is my first time to try this and I haven't achieved the result that I seek, which is one picture at the left and the second at the right side next to each othe on the same row.

Thank you.

    Just make a table with 2 columns and one row without borders, put one in each cell and your problem is solved :-)

      Exactly as above. Here is the code you need:

      <table>
      <tbody>
      <tr>
      <td style="width: 250px;">
      Picture1
      </td>
      <td style="width: 250px;">
      Picture2
      </td>
      </tr>
      </tbody>
      </table>

      Simply vary the width in pixels to accommodate your image size.

    Your pictures are wider than the space you're trying to insert them in to
    so the 2nd one is being pushed down to the next line... same as text.

    Reduce the size of the pictures and put them in tables as suggested above.

    I never need a table for doing this

    What Tsnyder said: IF there is enough room for them AND you put them on the same line* - they will be next to each other.

    _____________
    *this one is for WP users, they always forget that WP will insert a br if you put the second img code on a new line
