If your host has cpanel you can do an easy install through fantastico. There is link for it in cpanel.

Personally I think you should google the info you need, watch videos and learn to do it yourself. Otherwise you are not building your skillset and are going to rely on others the next time you want to do it.

I agree. It's better to learn this yourself first then when you know what needs to be done and how it needs to be done you can start outsourcing and be in control of your business. At least get the basics down, I am not saying you should become a Wordpress expert either.

why don't people just use something like team viewer?

Maybe it's just me but I don't feel safe giving out my information to some others just like that. By using a remote pc program like TeamViwer, I can log in to my WP account, and the one who is helping me, can do it from his own computer.

Speaking of wrodpress help. I bought my site already built by for the life of me cannot figure out how to change the links underneat my navigation bar at the top of my site. They are linking to products I did not put there and am sure someone if getting a commission if anyone buys from these prime ad locations.

Its the baby site in my sig. If you think you can direct me where I can go into wordpress to change it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Next time be more careful what you buy and check the terms... and require NO their links in the blog you buy

Check out the header.php of the theme used and look for these lines:

HTML Code:

<div id="subnavbar"> <ul id="subnav">

and their closing pair. The links should be there.

Becareful next time, and also, you can use the CTRL + F to find the exact name of the affiliate link that you want to remove. I did it that way, to a few of my WP themes.

No problem, and that's good! Make sure you track your result and traffic.

If the product/program doesn't convert after certain amount of time, switch to another one. You'll never know if the other ones would do better than the current one.
