How Much Can I Earn From A 1000 People Mailing List ?

Hello WarriorForum friends. How i your online business is going ?

So Today I have a little question to ask you guys, so we all know that the money is in the list, that we have to focus on the quality of the list more than the quality and we have to overdeliver our list with great and valuable content

but I have a question for guys who have tried internet marketing and use it successfully. I would like to know how much can we make from a 1000 people mailing list guys, do you think that we can earn 1000 dollars from it for example ?

Thank you guys

A lot will depend upon the nature of the list. How it was built and how you have interacted with them. If it is a buyers list then you should be making at least some cash if your offering value to them.

I've heard a lot of people suggest $1.00 per subscriber.

Depends on the niche, the quality of your list, your ability to write good ad copy etc.

Don't be so pre-occupied with how much your list can earn you. rather, focus on building the list, getting them to stay, and getting them to open your mailings. After that you can focus on getting them to learn a bit about you, and THEN how much money you can make..

  • Gclunis thank you man for the answer so I will focus first on what you said (make them opt-in, open the mails and stay), the money side is not what's important for me, i want to help the most people to improve their life (that's why I want to know how much money can i make so i can grow the number of people in my list and the number of people i can help)

    Thank you

I know people making well over $1 per subscriber per month from
their lists. I know others with much bigger lists who have
considered just deleting their list and starting over so it does
    depend.

First of all you need to let them know that you sell certain
things and you need to let them know early since they often
WILL buy what you sell... and if you're too shy "your list
members" are buying from someone else.

Next, you need to make sure that you sell them what they
are interested in. I have lists in fields ranging from MLM,
to network marketing, to martial arts, to travel, to cooking.

Very early in my online career I learned to ONLY offer what
they tell you they are interested in. I've tried selling
    telecommunications, dating site memberships, internet
marketing products, etc. to my cooking list as an example.
They are one of my largest databases, and it's tempting
to look for other ways to monetize it. When I offer them
cookbooks, they buy. When I tell them about practically
    anything else, they unsubscribe.

Now I do mention other things to them, but on a blog...
    not in my emails.

You can also condition your list members to buy only
inexpensive items. If you send them 20 emails offering
$7 reports, and then send them an email offering a
$2k item, it can create a disconnect in their minds :-)

Keep building that list by the way!

It depends what the niche is, the circumstances under which they've opted in and the reason for which they've opted in.

If they wanted information about "how to cheat at some minor online wargame or other" aimed primarily at children, it's probably almost worthless (because that's a poor niche to start with, and most of them won't have credit-cards anyway). If they wanted a free report about how to clear up their chronic psoriasis by dietary means, they have some slightly higher value (and are presumably people used to disappointments). But if they opted in unincentivised, simply to be informed about any future developments concerning the tax advantages of fractional jet ownership, then they're worth considerably more, arent they?

The answer isn't as simple as the question. How much you can earn from any list depends on:
    • The relationship you build with subscribers.
    • How much value you provide to them.
    • The delivery rate.
    • The open rate.
    • The click-through rate.
    • Your ability to persuade.
    • The frequency of your mailings.
    • The profit margins of the products.
    • How well targeted the products are to the list.
    • How much credibility you have with the list.
    • How the list was built (freebie seekers vs proven buyers).
    • The discretionary funds available to them.
    • The list demographics.
    • How hard you work.
    • Which list host you use.
    • ...and other factors to numerous to list.

Most of all, how much you make depends on you.

YOU create the value of that list.
    • Fill it with un-targeted subscribers and it's worthless.
    • Send them junk emails promoting garbage and it's worthless (or non-existent when they unsubscribe)
    • Nurture it like a baby, provide value, guidance and caring and then you'll be able to see its value.
    All success,

    Gary
