Submitting articles to ezines?

Hey there Warriors.

Just wondering... Does anyone write and submit articles
for the sole purpose of submitting them directly to ezine
publishers in your niche?

You know, years ago this was the best method around
for getting free traffic and establishing your brand.

Not sure why writers stopped??

Anyone still do this??

I know I do for a handful of select publishers and have
been able to add literally thousands of fresh new subs
to my opt-in list for years!

Talk soon,
Gary

You might want to search for threads by "Bless5" on this forum.

The link of great joy and happiness...but this one? This is the one that all window cleaning companies in the free world are inspired by. Hey, where did the sarcasm font go?

I used to net a sale every five or so articles for my old niche (this was about a year or two ago). I quit for awhile then came back, and then it started taking about 10-15 articles per sale.

That's the reason I stopped with EZA; the juice wasn't worth the squeeze.

I don't write anything for that sole purpose, because I always get multiple mileage out of everything I write (apart from forum posts); but I agree that it's a very good and underused method of article marketing.

I hope you're not going to make too much of a habit of giving my little secrets away ...

This thread has nothing has to do with "EZA", Sour. It's about ezines, not about the article directory called "Ezine Articles". This post might help you.

Yeah I think this form of "article marketing" has been under used
and needs to be used more.

Just writing for directories is nice, but you really can get better
mileage out of your efforts by submitting your original articles to
ezine publishers in your niche :-)
