Google doing live previews?

Anyone else getting this?

Happens when I hover over the search results.

Surely, this can't be good for adwords revenue?

I thought it was Google Instant only (I disabled it because it was incredibly annoying) because my friend brought it up yesterday, but it wasn't working for me. It looks like I have it too now.

Definitely a damper on those using AdWords. For those of you who can't get it to work: you have to click the white space next to a link to activate the preview.

I am also seeing this. Also it shows up when you click the little magnifying glass next to the search result as well.

If it is bad for revenue you can bet Google will end
    this experience very quickly

    Yep... they sure are.

Official Google Blog: Beyond Instant results: Instant Previews

Not my favorite, but I'm not a fan of "instant" either. It actually distracts me from my typing as I'm searching - their "guesses" for my searches are typically wrong as I type, so it doesn't help me much.

As a browser, I love it! This will replace a plugin I had to do the same thing. It will be interesting to see what kind of impact it has -- high quality sites win again...

I read about this early this morning, then actually experienced it mid morning. I haven't had it happen again since. Must be testing. It will be interesting if more sites lower down on page one get more views because of cluttered, poor looking sites occupying the top of the rankings.

Seriously, IMO, go back to the basics Google. KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). I absolutely hate Google Instant. Unless you type with both hands behind your back, you can beat the instant every-time. It's also just plain annoying. As for the preview, it favors sites that are flashy, not content. Viewers will be more interested in so called "Good Looking" sites, before reading the content on the page. Is this fair? I don't know. It does however, make you think about what your pages look like compared to your competition in the SERPS. I have a feeling some of the best content Web sites will see a drop in CTR if their site is not up to par with graphics and flashiness! Sorry for the rant!!
