Hi

I have installed an auto-responder on my WP site, but don't know how to set up the redirection URL.
When somebody signs up, I want them to automatically be directed to a specific page, but Do I make the URL password protected or private? Having trouble distinguishing between the two.

thanks in advance

You'd normally set the redirection url with the autoresponder. I just use the thank you page url and make it the page I want them to go to. What autoresponder are you using?

Also why would you want to make the page you want them to go to password protected when they've already signed up? Sorry bit confused.

I just got an email from Paul Myers last night with a great deal on a bunch of video's on just about everything you'd ever need to know about a wordpress blog.

If I understand your question correctly, you're just looking for a way to keep the thank you page from showing up in your navigation? If that's the case, just use a plugin like Exclude Pages. Making it private will prevent anyone who isn't logged in from seeing it, and password protecting it will make it visible but inaccessible.
