My 1 Year at the Warrior Forum

Well this was meant to be in October but I was away as you will find out further in the post. This was an email sent to my subscribers and I figured I should share it here as well.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Warrior Forum and all its members. WF has been responsible for a lot of my successes online, some lifelong friends I met here, great partnerships and relationships formed and well over 5 figures in revenue the past few months alone.

The following is the email I sent to my subscribers, with a little blurb and link of promotion of my current product carefully taken out of this post because I don't want it to be a self promoting post but an important message to all the aspiring entrepreneurs we have here.

=============================================
Hello,

Hope you are good.

This email is different, just an important experience
I thought I'd share with you.

Recently due to a family urgency and twist
of plans, led me to travel almost 4000 miles
at the short notice of 4 weeks.

Well, you'd say, take a flight and boom you'll
be there right?

Well, when you have to abandon all your plans,
most of your belongings, and have a ONE WAY
ticket because you don't know whats in store for
you. It ain't fun.

But during the flight I was thinking, Its not so bad.

I mean how many people could do that? specially
at such a short notice?

That is when I realized! All this struggle, all the hours
in front of the computer screen, almost no social life
(at least in the beginning) and a constant reminder
that I had to pay the bills at the end of the month, ALL
the Hard Times.

It was all worth it!

The entire trip was paid for, along with all the other
expenses, by Internet Marketing alone.

Yup, that money came from my online endeavors.

Not a job, no begging the bosses for extra hours
and more shifts, no calling friends and family for
last minute loans.

I mean, just imagine if a serious urgency comes at the
end of the month, when you are already short of
cash and you gotta raise a couple of thousand $$
and you can't even do extra time at work.

Why am I telling you this?

Because I know how it is and how it feels to be a struggling
marketer, an aspiring entrepreneur with all but good intentions
a lot of hard work but nothing to show for.

It is TOUGH! very tough. But I want you to believe in yourself
and keep going.

Never Back Down!

In the end, if you keep going, keep believing in yourself, it
will pay off! Everything will be worth it.

I'm here to help. Drop me an email if you feel like I'm
the person who could help with a specific problem.

I am at my current location for a couple of months
before going back to England but I will be working
online so I'll stay in touch.

Also, keep an eye on my Coaching program reopening
in a couple of days.

For now I have been busy with the customer service
and setting up my last product Instant Income Streams
on an affiliate network as I received several emails
from people wanting to promote it.

Till next time,
Maddi Murtaza
(end of email)

=========================================

My online career has seen A LOT of ups and downs but if there has been one thing that kept me going is my WHY. What is your WHY? Why do you do what you do? Why do you want to be an Online Entrepreneur?

It is very important to know your WHY because that is one thing which will keep you going through the tough times and make you start all over again the next day.

Be Consistent! Never give up.

Every product/project I've failed in online has been a great learning experience and I've never considered any of my endeavors a failure.

I've learned how to take calculated risks, I've learned how not to do certain things, I've learned how to establish relationships with partners, online social circle, virtual assistants and freelancers.

I've learned short term is just as important as the long term plans. I've learned short term planning is not being short sighted, those are two different things.

I've learned its important to have consistent cash flow while you are working away online.

I've learned its important to believe in yourself and in your proposal before approaching a client or a potential JV partner as it clearly comes across in your attitude.

I've learned that there is no difference being a pessimist who thinks nothing will happen or being an optimist who thinks it will all work out in the end and do nothing about it. ACTION is key!

Have an abundant mindset, reward people, value your time, cultivate relationships, treat your list with utmost respect and love, value friendships and don't underestimate the power and value of little things in life.

With that said, I wish you all the Best in your online endeavors. Just remember, everything you need to get started is right here. Take that step today, not tomorrow. Reading or learning and doing/implementing are two different things.

To your success,
Maddi Murtaza

          Great post, Maddi.

Every product/project I've failed in online has been a great learning experience and I've never considered any of my endeavors a failure.
I spent a good portion of my 'corporate' career in R&D and the above mindset is truly a necessity for those developing products.

Not everything you create is going to be a winner. I've been involved in projects where tens of millions of dollars were spent only to see it go down in flames and the company trying to bring the product to market simply having to write it off and move on to the next project. That's life.

I learned a long time ago to make the 'journey' as rewarding as the 'destination'. By that I mean strive to make process of creation as enjoyable as possible so even if the monitary reward is not as great as hoped for you still have the experince to look back on as a valuable asset.

And while we're on the subject, here's to many more years of your success...

Love the post. One of the things that got me was when you asked, 'What is your Why?" That is a very strong line and I think you should use it for marketing.

My why is very simple. I haven't received a significant pay increase at my corporate job in the last 5 years. My kids are getting older, eating more food, clothes cost more, etc. My wife has been a stay at home mom and I always told her that once all the kids are in school she will need to return to the work force. Well, the youngest is in pre-school so she really has one more year.... or so I thought. Everyday when they get home from school she works with all of them on their homework until 6:00 - 6:30 in the evening.

I now see the importance of being able to allow her to stay at home. Not only to help the kids with their homework now but also in the future to make sure they don't become unsupervised kids. Having a mom home after school is more valuable than I would have every thought.

So that's my why. I am doing it for my family. I want to replace my income online in the next year and know I can do it. Hopefully I can do both for a year which would essentially be doubling my income for a year and than do IM full time.

A truly inspirational post. Maddi, thanks for sharing this. Yes, it's nice to
know that your efforts have paid off and you can kind of relax because of
all the hard work you put in.

Your story is not much different from mine and, I suspect, many others. I

Maddi, it's great to hear that your 1 year over here in the forum has been so fruitful and productive. It's good that you're sharing these mindset prerequisites with your list, as internet marketing can be a tough row to hoe in the beginning, and you have to accept failure as a vital part of the process that melds and transforms you into a successful internet marketer (this is something a LOT of newbies have issues with, but you simply cannot avoid failure along the way if you want to make it as an internet marketer).

Thanks Paul. It goes with anything we do in life, you simply can't avoid failure along the way. It is the way your treat it and take it that matters, do we take our failures as learning experiences or do we simply give up that matters.

    Dear Maddi (Friend now),

I see you as one of my mentors through my learning experience and failing with Internet marketing. I‘ve read many books on success and there it is often mentioned that you have to have a strong why, but you Maddi have a talent to explain it differently and for that I am full of gratitude. If the WHY is missing just like you said it will be harder to get through the tough times without it.

I am writing this here because I will forever be thankful for knowing such a great guy like you are. People who truly care about others and are honest are type of people I like I guess this is because this is the way my grandmother told me to live my life and she was a really great person.

Luckily there are more great people within this forum and just to name a few, Jan Roos is a top notch guy, Dr Veit has a great humor and he‘s also a great guy, Steven Wagenheim has give this forum a lot of gold, Daniel Brock is one of those nice guys out there and many more, Caleb Spilchen is also a very good guy I have respect for.

I could keep on writing down names of all the great people within this forum that have helped me George Brown and others and I believe they have a great spirit just like Maddi one of a heck nice guy! Be consistent and never give up there is so much value in these words if you take time and see it. (think what these words contain.)

Maddi and all the great people within this forum who have contributed and help others I want to use this opportunity in this thread, wish you the best of the best.

P.S. Maddi – You will be a friend of mine forever.

This part is so valuable ... the freedom to be able to take time when you need it and raise money in a pinch.

When my Mom was really sick with cancer, her schedule for chemo, doctors visits and tests necessitated that she go into Boston usually 1 day a week (sometimes 2). The whole thing was an all day affair because I live more than an hour away from Boston so getting in there, then waiting (sometimes for several hours) for the doctor and then getting back ate up most of the day.

This went on for a year and I was able to go to all her appointments with her because of my online activities. Although I wasn't financially in the "big time" working for myself gave me the freedom to take one day a week for that - I don't know of too many bosses that would let you do that every week for a full year.

So, I agree, the struggle, long hours, lost social activities and lack of money in the beginning is well worth what you get in the end.

Absolutely Lee. The freedom of location was a much larger reason why I got intrigued by the idea of Internet Marketing in the early days and in fact never gave up. Of course financial freedom is also an important goal, but there is so much more we can achieve by freedom of location and being your own boss via Internet Marketing.

Yes I'm of many whose success can be attributed to the Warrior Forum in many ways.

But I would like to clarify that Warrior Forum is not my only source of income, when I meant success via the Warrior Forum I mean the people I've met here, the friends I've made for life, the partnerships formed and several other things.

My life would be very different without the Warrior forum for sure, but that doesn't mean I would not succeed online without it.

I have also met and made friends with several successful internet marketers in marketing conferences, workshops and event that I initially met via the warrior forum.

Warrior Forum has given me the mentors and friends I can count on whenever I need a helping hand, technical advice, a product on a particular topic I want to learn about or simply blow off some steam.

It is my first go to place for things mentioned above so yes, WF has made a significant impact on my online endeavors in many ways.
