The way i did it was not to put a sig box at the end of the article, i plan on letting my normal sig file do the work

Mind you having typed the above I'm now second guessing my self, and thinking you were asking if you could link to sites that were not your own

Over to someone who thinks before he types hahahaha

I was also wondering. I don't think it's such a dumb question at all.

So far no policy, but I think common sense rules. If you stuff the article with links, it will look spammy.
    No word on affiliate links.

Robert: No wonder. I was wondering why I didn't see a single link in your article. But my eye would just skip the signature part.

    Any clickthroughs?

This is how it often goes ....

Allen creates something to give Warriors a great opportunity.

Rules are minimal because it is expected that you will be professional and treat the WF with respect.

    Then the idiots arrive.

Rules are then implemented to address abuses by the idiots.

    --------

Some article directories allow links in articles. Some do not. Some allow affiliate links. Some do not. Some allow pictures within articles. Some do not.

The "do nots" often result from abuse. Poor articles merely created to pump links. Affiliate links which quickly become dead ends because the spammer is canned from the merchant program.

Hopefully, the payment threshhold is high enough to weed out the idiots.

My suggestion: think about your article titles, create good content, and not worry about where your link naturally appears.

With a forum as popular as this one, an attempt at abuse is inevitable. It would be nice, however, if we had some guidelines to follow. One thing is for sure, my sig link would definitely not be relevant to each and every article I would write. I think I am going to PM him if somebody hasn't already.
