Great results from Article Snatch... but ?

I have written 27 articles over the last few months and I have submitted them to the major submission sites. The one that seems to be performing the best on Google is article snatch. I am amazed to see a lot of my keyword coming up on page 1 from article snatch.

I am now wondering why, in view of this, when I check in Backlink Watch, I don't have one back link from Article Snatch. I have checked all the links and they are working fine.

I am not very clued up on all this work but I am surprised by this one.

Any ideas

    Perhaps Backlink Watch isn't working correctly. I use Yahoo Site Explorer to check backlinks

    No it doesn't work right. I just checked one of my sites and it says it has 2 backlinks but it really has over 2,000

    Yup some backlink checkers don't report all the backlinks as they take their information from the search engines, and the search engines don't always report 100% of the backlinks for certain reasons. ( so that your competitors won't be able to spy on you, etc )

    You could check out SEOSpyglass. There's a free version of it .. just do a search on Google, I find that it is more accurate than the normal backlink checkers.
