Market Samurai SEOComp VS Keyword Tool Comp levels?

Hi
If I follow the methods describe in MS to assess the competition of a keyword, why I am seeing big differences between what the Google keyword tool shows for competition.

Sometimes I will see low competition on MS, but then Google shows medium competition. Or it can be low on Google, and then seems quite a bit on MS.

At the moment, I feel competition would be a very important factor. But am I maybe placing too much emphasis on it, and with good SEO, I could over come low to medium competition?

    The google keyword tool competition value is to do with how many people are advertising on that keyword. Nothing to do with SEO.

    No, the google keyword tool is designed for PPC advertisers. MS will show you some good data to assess competition.
