What are the best sites or programs used to automate social bookmarking.

Does it still have the same benefit, is it worth spending the time.

  I see this over and over...and I know it's true, too. And yet~when people talk about backlink campaigns, they still wonder if they are going to be penalized because not all the sites linking to theirs are in the same niche as their site. Social Bookmarking Websites are rarely, if ever, "relevant" to the theme of our sites. Yet, look at their power for indexing your site in the Search Engines. There's no penalty there. Trust me.

i do it via socialposter.com ... it definitely helps you get discovered in google ... and fast too ...

i've also tried bookmarking demon, but to be honest, have not seen any benefit to this as of yet ...
