Bright-eyed, bushy-tailed Web Marketing newbie with ONE question... [OUTSOURCING]

Hi guys, this is Joe.

I found this forum just this week and it seems like an amazing resource, especially considering it's not behind some member gate like on all the expensive guru services.

Having said that about the gurus, the free stuff they've been putting out over the last few months really helped open my eyes to the possibilities of what can be done with product launches. Back in the summer I watched a lot of Eben Pagan, and also found info from Jeff Walker and a few others pretty revealing too. Without spending any money

Anyway. Here I am, I'm a fair way down the line (got a niche which I think is a good one, got a product, got free content and working sales funnel, etc. Still need to do some videos but I'm on that and in the meantime, I am now at the stage where I need to drive traffic so qualified traffic generation is what I've been looking into in detail most recently.

Jeff Johnson and Tristan Bull both seem to have solid info on what works doing that - forum posts, blog commenting article marketing and video posting, etc. I'm already doing the videos and excited to see how that pans out. I also have a strong idea for affiliate plans further down the line once I can prove that this thing will convert for them.

As for the majority of required activity to drive traffic though - the whole strategy with forum/commenting etc - it's obviously a lot of work to make it work - which got me thinking about outsourcing - and Tristan himself personally recommends in his recent PDF that it is a good idea to outsource a lot of the things you need to do to start driving traffic.

Which brings me to my question: where and who do you go to if you want to outsource this kind of stuff?

Is it possible to hire people on a revenue share or commission basis if they like the niche/product and if initial numbers suggest good conversions? Could they get the ball rolling for an initial fee? My initial searches for some sort of "guru product launch traffic outsourcing" plugin-type service hasn't given me much, although now I've found this place I am hoping you guys can help us have a fruitful discussion about outsourcing various aspects of traffic driving in a product launch scenario.

After all there are quite a lot of so called product launch gurus out there so surely there must be a service in which a true expert guru has a team of people which, rather than selling $2000 products on how to 'DIY' do-it-all-yourself - can potentially earn MUCH higher sums by taking a 50/50 split of revenue generated by the projetcs they take on, in return for doing some of the work... provided they think the opportunity is a good one in the first place of course.

Looking forward to hearing what you guys think.

Thanks,
Joe

Joe - if you can afford a few hundred bucks a month you can get someone full time in the Philippines. You can teach them the specifics of what you want them to do. This is probablyvthe best economical choice for promotion.

      Hey Joe,
There are a few great websites out there that are very easy for newbies to use, I talk about them alot in here and the reason is that both of these sites are perfect at achieving awesome results. The first is ODesk which is great for finding off-shore employees, Managing Them, paying them and making sure they are working. This is a great option if you know about SEO and Proper backlink techniques, The second website is backlinkteam which is better suited for those with not as much experience. With Backlink team you get a dedicated off-shore team but its managed by someone in the US who knows what they are doing. I used Backlink team a lot when i was first starting out and now use ODesk now that i really know what im doing. Hope that helps. Thanks

        Joe,

I always find great workers on Craigslist Manila.

Look under the resume section and also post a job opportunity in the jobs section.

You can get full time workers for as low as $250 a month for full time!

Before you hire an outsource employee, be sure you have a plan of action that they can work on full time. If you hire someone part time, the work will be good for awhile, but once they get another part time job to fill the extra hours, you'll see the good work begin to dwindle. (usually)

      Hi everyone

Just wanted to say a big thanks for all these pointers a couple of weeks ago. Sorry I didn't get back to you all sooner, I've been focusing on converting all my free content and funnel into video-based content.

You guys are very welcome to see it and your feedback is very welcome (edit: can't post link to it yet as I'm still a Warrior n00b and need 15 posts!).

I am planning to test out how this converts with a little bit of paid Facebook CPC and then really delve deep into free traffic tactics - both hands-on and outsourced using some of your pointers.

I've got to be honest here guys, and I know this sounds cliche, but this is make or break for me. I was basically just made redundant this past week (lost my big contract on my traditional/dead business) and so I'm glad I've had this project on the boil for a few months. However now it's really time for me to step the f*** up and make it work and take it all the way. The plan is something I find really exciting but I only have a few months to make it work before it's game over.

Looking forward to participating here, and maybe working with you all

Joe, I think it'd be hard to work out a revenue/profit sharing arrangement, especially if you're brand new to this and do not have any contacts in the industry.

With that said, all the tedious free traffic generation activities can be cheaply outsourced to the Philippines - some of the best places to look for them would be onlinejobs.ph and Craigslist Manila.

There'll be some trial and error involved in selecting the right employees for the job, but that all comes with the territory and if take the time to properly interview your prospects, I have no doubt you'll find some really good ones.
