Allen, error with the facebook profile button...

INTERNET MARKETING

Not sure if I should post here or in the help desk. :/

Anyway, if you click on the little facebook icon in someone's profile, you'll get a not found error. This is because warriorforum is redirecting the link to the wrong place.

Right now it's: http://www.facebook.com/IDNUMBER

It SHOULD be: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=IDNUMBER

Please fix. Thanks.

P.S. Can we add a facebook "like" button to our threads? Or maybe even replace the thanks mod with the facebook like button. Just a thought.

Well, it depends... if you applied to have your own name in the URL, then it should be http://www.facebook.com/YourName

I think, that's the problem: it is set up now to work for those that have their name (like mine).

No Joshua is correct. Both of your Facebook links are inactive, I have just checked.

No idea why though.

Solved It!

It was because I was logged out of Facebook LOL!

Allen, if you log in to Facebook and try the links they all work.

Bah. Well how do I apply to get my name as the URL? I looked around, but didn't find anything.

This was first drawn to my attention when I tried to click on Bryan Kumar's link, but it didn't work.

This will continue to cause confusion, because it tells you to put your facebook ID number. :/
