No competition on 60K searches/month. Let's get #1

Hello to all fellow Warriors,

As you may know I'm in france & I'm dealing with french stuff.

I just found a new niche which is 60.5K searches/ month and the best is that there is any competition according to Google Keywords.

I found the product I could sell with a 10% commission of 22euros.

Moreover Google Trends is really optimistic concerning that Keyword so all seems to be Ok.

---

What I need to know is how to reach the top1 in Google ver quickly.
I already have 10 * 400words articles I've made today about that niche I'm going to post on a sub category of my website.

Do I need to post them all at the same time ? Tweet, Digg, Reddit as soon as possible ?

Just need to be Google #1 concerning this keyword so thank you for advices.
#60k #competition #searches or month

My advice is to not try and get to Google page one quickly. Take your time to slowly build back links over time and u will get there easier.

Make sure you have what's called a positive link acceleration which means every week you need more links than the last so start small and build a bit more each week, make it look natural and you will get that number one spot.

    Cheers

    Hey Jan Roos,

I don't know where to put backlinks as it is quite hard to find more than 10 websites dealing with this niche.

Is there anything to do to be #1 without thousands of backlinks ?

Look in the SEO section of this forum. You'll find everything u need in there or buy a WSO that deals with SEO.

On page SEO is the main factor, so get an exact match domain, and make sure all the contents are SEO friendly. Also you should make sure you have the main keyword as your page title, and all of your image files rotate though your top 3 keywords as their alternate text.

I wouldn't worry about building up links too fast. It doesn't get anyone removed from the indexed. If it did, I would backlink the heck out of my competition

      Cheers,

    Hi Nedie,

If it is a very good niche then it would be best to buy an exact match domain, and then put all the articles on there. If you have found a really good keyword, and have content ready, go after it all guns blazing. Once all of your articles are individually indexed, then submit your articles to Ezinearticles, Articlebase, Goarticles etc.

Then backlink, tweet, bookmark and stumble every article on your website, and off.

You could even go to Microworkers and pay $20 to get 200 people to Digg your new site, just to give it the initial boost. Provided you are building links in other ways this can be very beneficial.

    Cheers,

Sounds like there is huge demand for the niche you are looking for

Do you know if people buy in your niche because that is all that counts

      anyways ,

Just as Jan , said I would not advice that you rank very quickly because you get sand boxed by Google which is not want you want

You want to rank in google naturally so you don't raise any red flags

If you not sure how to go about ranking , why not find the experts at SEO , email them and split the proceedings with them , they get you the ranking you create the product and the articles and you agree on some percentage

Ofcourse , you can try and do it yourself but working with an expert means you are not doing any guess work and buying products and most importantly that you are NOT doing the work yourself so you can free up your time to do find other killer niches

It is better to make 150 ,000 with an expert than to make a 3000 all by yourself

Just my 2 cents . hope it helps in someway

Play the PPC game to get there real fast, but do try to build high quality organic back links over time.

Whoa Nedie ... sorry, could not resist.

Lets not jump out of the gate like a charging bull. First, revise your traffic estimates down by looking at phrase matched or exact match traffic. Base your estimates on those. Next, make sure you are looking at local matches and not global for your market.

This is to ensure your next warrior post is not "60000 searches a month on google and no traffic!".

Next, what is your top ten competition like. Are they PR8 .gov sites or PR0 autoblogs? I once found a niche with 500000 searches a month US local traffic for a great keyword once. It was such a great topic, several government departments had written information pieces on the topic There were only 6000 or so competing pages but there might has well been 60000000. Sometimes numbers are irrelevant and you need to look at what is happening and why it is happening.

@ Colin : Actually I can not afford for a new domain + hosting as I'm student and just bought a new domain 2 weeks ago. Will wait to see results to reinvestite.
    Thanks however for SEO advices.

@ Elective : Never looked into PPC. Maybe it worth a try. Thanks for showing the way.

    @ Terrapurus :

    Global Searches : 74K
    Local Searches : 60.5K
That is for exact match keyword.

    Competition analysis :

    1. Author website PR3
    2. Forum thread (170K views)
    3. 750 words article
    4. Forum category dedicated to the niche
    5. Non sense
    6. Youtube & dailymotion videos (2)
    7. 8*500 words articles
    8. Book @ Amazon
    9. FB page
    10. Forum thread

If you can, get an exact match domain with .net .org or best .com extension (or the local one i guess, haven't actually tested that but should work well, too).

Get social bookmarks. Ping them. Get blog comments. Ping them. Very good, if you can get at least a handful of .edu or .gov links (blog comments) indexed first! That gves you more trust, will stabilize your rankings. I don't do anything wihtout them anymore.

Get your articles to all the social places. ezinearticles, hubpages, articlesbase, blogger, wordpress. Use animoto.com or just a cell phone cam or something to make videos and post them all over the place. Facebook, twitter.

Check which french web2.0 sites are hot for local google rankings!

That should do the trick. Outsouce the stuff. It's cheaper than you can do it yourself

First do some test PPC campaign and find out the actual searches, money keywords and conversions then focus on SEO.

If your searchers are buyers sounds like you hit the lotto! My suggestion would be to outsource the project. I've saw a few people on WF with the business of getting your site to #1 gauranteed...maybe save some money and hook-up with them.

I'd be willing to bet that the 60K number is a broad number. You'd be hard pressed to find weak competition in a niche with 60K exact searches.

Make a video targeting your main keyword and distribute it via tubemogul (free). I have gotten page one rankings in as little as 6 hours.

Many thanks for all those reply.

Do people buy ? In fact this niche is corresponding to a book so if people are looking at the niche, they will surrely fall into the Amazon buy page and that's essential. Did you remark that OCI doesn't work anymore ?
The commission I'll get is around 2 euros. Is there an other way to promote the website ?

Make a video : I'm already thinking of making one as many peoplea are looking for YouTube videos concernung this niche to see the results.

I won't outsource the prooject as I ain't got the money to do so, that's also very nice to make a website from A to Z. Isn't it ?
Some people say it's a broad results. Could you explain what is it and how can I verify ?
