Team Hoyt: Applications to Internet Marketing? (Video)

With over 155,00+ views, surprisingly, a few days ago was actually the first time I saw this video. As a part of my advanced Army officer training, 'resiliency training' is integrated, and this video just happened to be what was shown to us. I'm not one to get wrapped up around emotional stuff, but, I admit, this video broke even a seasoned combat vet to tears.

To keep this "on topic", I think this certainly has deeper implications to the world of IM. I know it can be frustrating, especially when first starting out, when affiliate commissions/ product sales/ adsense earnings don't come through every time you refresh the screen. In fact, each day may leave you with completely barren earnings....contemplating giving up altogether. I do believe it's up to each one of us to assess our own individual situations, and how IM falls into that, but, in the meantime, I think its also important to embrace the resiliency required to IM.

Occasionally, I see a thread about wanting to quit IM. In some cases, 'quitting', in order to invest time in a more lucrative and worthwhile venture, may actually be the best course of action. If you are determined, however, to make IM work, I think we can all learn quite a bit from the father and son depicted in this video.

Applications to Internet Marketing? I believe so. Enjoy!

NOTE: Not sure if I have to say this or not, but the song this video is set to was performed by a Christian music band named "Mercy Me". By virtue of that, it does have religious undertones/lyrics. If you're not into that...it's still inspirational even if you mute it.
