Thank You Allen For Showing Us What Marketing Is All About

All too often we get caught up in "I don't like this" or "What did he do that for" that we forget to catch the lessons hidden in the things Allen does here on the forum. For anyone who is actually paying attention Allen is giving everyone a very important free lesson in marketing.

Allen has recently been looking at ways to monitize this forum to it's fullest potential, without hurting the quality of the forum. Keep in mind that the potential money to be made isn't his only consideration here though.

Allen is looking at ways to not only create new income streams for himself but at the same time help us generate more income in the process. It's not just about his bottom line or about how much money he can squeeze out of the forum. He is looking for ways to help himself by helping others. He has tried several things and some have worked and some haven't.

I know there are several lessons to be learned by watching what he is doing, but the biggest one I personally see is the old addage "If you help enough people get what they want then you will get what you want."

Too many times we get stuck in our own mindsets and neglect to see what is right in front of us, and I just wanted to say thank you Allen for this front row seat to learn basics of marketing from a true master of the craft.
