Is Google Low on Advertisements / Advertisers for Google Adsense?

Hello.

Recently, I'm seeing the same Google Adsense ads no matter which website I visit. They are also showing more of their own ads.

Is Google low on advertisers and therefore low on advertisements?

I don't think they are low as per the number of people using AdWords, it could be the bidder is or has a ctr or is paying a higher bid. There are a lot of factors that come into play.

That can probably be explained by your Cookies and search history.

Google ads now follow you to each website you visit, and generally most advertisers have this option enabled.

Google is just serving you extremely relevant ads, that's all.

you totally nailed it; that would be the best explanation i could think of as well; other than that, hey, we're still facing the recession, and some consumers cannot afford goggle advertising anymore and stop using this service; so i think that google doesn't lack the actual advertisements, but the clients who want to advertise their products

This is the most likely explanation.

If you want to check it, though, try browsing the same sites with "private browsing" or whatever your flavor of browser calls it turned on. Without access to cookies and history, they have to show the ads straight up. About the best they could do should be geo-targeting.

It's the option in Adwords called re-targeting or some such. I have noticed this trend too. I spent quite a bit of time looking at project management software and months later I'm STILL getting ads for some project management software on unrelated sites.

According to a insider buddy at Google they are revamping adwords because of a recent report citing clickfraud as high as 63% on average and over 85% on their content network.

Between the runaway inflation of PPC prices on Googles networks and knowing over half is fraudulent traffic, advertisers are bailing like rats on the Titanic.
