Coaches you can hire. I believe the mentor finds you when you are ready (jmo).

You need to make a list of those who are known for niche marketing, then look up everyone on that list to see who you think will help you most with your business model, then you need to see if they are a coach or can coach you.

Expect to have to pay them for their time.

(ps, how would I start this? I'd go into the WSO's and look at every offer that helps niche marketers in some way and start my list of candidates there - but I'm sure there are other ways too)

IMO- forget a coach! There's so much good marketing information on the web, free and paid. Spend at least eight hours a day educating yourself, learning about new trends and "networking."

Don't be afraid to try new things. But be selective and give them a chance to actually work. You're not going to get rich overnight, so don't expect to.

Some of these expos and conferences are a good way to meet people who could potentially help you.

Cracka, the problem with having so much good information on the web for free is there is at least as much (if not more) crap that just sounds good. Some of it may have been good once, but no longer. Some is unproven stuff that may work in some instances and not others, but the author won't say that because they either believe it will work or don't want to lose any potential reader. And much of it os only good for feeding digital roses.

Sometimes all one needs is a fresh set of eyes that know what to look for.

Attending expos and conferences can indeed be a good way to network your way to the contacts you need.

LifestyleTrans, if you can afford it, Perry Marshall's Bobsled Run program might be what you need. (perrymarshall.com)
