Got a Black Friday Site Going Up. Need Traffic.

I am about to launch a black Friday site.

However, I am new to Internet Marketing.

Can some of you experienced people tell me how to get traffic to my site fast?

    Depends what your website is selling.

        Ok, this case, it's probably not for you. If you don't know what you're doing, you can blow $200 within minutes.

        The other option is to find sites/blogs related to what you're selling and advertise on them.

        Buysellads.com has some sites that is affordable.

    Black Friday sales could be tough unless you know what products they are going to be selling ahead of time. I would probably try social networking (Facebook and twitter), try to be the first one on both of those to post all of the hot items that are on sale.

    Try looking at Google trends or ebay pulse. Since it is a black friday site you could target stuff like gadgets and other things people will be getting for the holidays.

    Then either create some articles, videos, or press releases around the keywords in Google trends and ebay pulse.

    Yeah, fast traffic equals paid traffic and you could have them to your site within 24 hours and a lot of that traffic, but it could be pricey. Make sure you research your product first before doing any paid traffic and then test with small amounts of money before you put anything big into it. Do your testing now so that once Thxgiving week arrives you can open up the flood gates.

      How can I learn about paid traffic test?
      I have an adwords account but don't really know what to do.
      Also have $200.00 to spend on adwords.

    If you aren't already Adwords-savvy, save your money - $200 won't get you all that far.

    You'd be better off spending it outsourcing articles, using product- or product-category keywords. Use them for Ezinearticles, a Squidoo lens, Hubpages page, etc.

    If you do a little homework and are creative, you can probably grab some good high-traffic spots, pointing back to your site.

    if I were you I would make a facebook fan page(you can learn how just google it or seach the forum) with all the info from your site and put some special deals on it, also make some youtube videos and put them on the fan page, link you fanpage to your site and get some "likes" on your fan page from fiverr.com

    At this point in the game, the only thing left for you to do is social media and paid advertising... If you only have $200 to advertise, you are not going to get the kind of traffic you will want or need to be profitable...

        Most people who do the Christmas season believe that you should have your site ready, ranked and all planned advertising set up and ready to go by copy-and-paste, by the end of August...

        So for Black Friday, end of July...
