Can I get input on my new site here?

Hi everyone,

I have been working on a new site for my consulting business and am wondering if it is possible to get input on what I have so far from people here? If not...do you all know of any place where I might be able to get sincere input from internet marketing folks on a new site?

The reason I would like to ask internet marketing folks is that despite hanging out on this forum from time to time I am still a web developer and my site design can probably use a bit more internet marketing colors, sales like wording, and the like.

I am of course scouring the net to find good landing and other pages whose elements I might be able to duplicate (legally) or use but I also wanted live input from any who might care to give it to me.

The site is not complete yet, in fact there is nothing there, but if anyone wants to give me input I will put up at least the home page.

It is geared toward a target market of mainly WordPress consultants and web developers where I will be offering services to them and not neccessarily to the general public.

If anyone could give me input on whether I can get advice about such here or if not here where to go for such I would appreciate.

PS. While I would not say no to any new business gotten from this forum that is not my intent...to get new business here I mean. I just want the input. I will be contacting prospective clients assertively one at a time apart from this or any other forum.

    • That's great you all. Hopefully I can get the home page up in the next few minutes. If not tonight...definitely by tommorrow. I'll post back here when I have it up.

      Please bear in mind that it's just the home page, some of the navigation links don't work, etc.

      But it is essentially the way it will look when fleshed out. The main thing I am interested in getting input on is the text content as to whether it causes WordPress consultants and web developers to salivate for using my services LOL.

      If it doesn't seem to do that I need to change the wording. Also whether the overall look and feel is easy or at least seems to be easy on the eyes and easy to use.

      Any input along those lines would be most appreciated. Especially the copyrighting. Not enough colors? Not enough highlighting? Too wordy? Written in a passive vs active voice? That type of thing.

      In short...does it sell?

      As I mentioned I will be marketing myself directly to WordPress consultants and web developers to allow me to help them with an excess of clients and or work from them. And assertively so meaning that I am not going to wait on them to find me in search engines or otherwise. I will go after them by contacting them through their websites.

      So I won't be bothering to improve the ranking of my site in the search engines since I won't be targetting the more general audience that might come to me through such.

      I will carefully pick and chose consultants to initiate contact with. One's that charge a lot of money for their services will be prime candidates in that I will be able to offer to do what they do for less such that they can pocket the difference between what they would normally charge the end client and what I charge them.

      Anyway I will post a link later tonight or tomorrow.
