What would YOU do if someone copied your top Money site?

Well - okay - they didn't copy the ENTIRE thing word for word...
And they didn't copy the graphics.

but they copied most of your sales copy and testimonials almost word for word EXACTLY without changing but a few things.

And then, to add insult to injury:

they put the site up on Clickbank!!!

What would you do?

Report them for copyright infringement, if they do not take the site down, C&D, then lawsuit.

      Testimonial fraud is FTC bait.

If yours are genuine...nail the perp.

I reported them to Clickbank and then sent their host a DMCA notice.

    Will that cover it?

The infringing site has only been up since May of this year and doesn't have that much SEO traction at this point so I don't think the earnings could be that great yet.

A DMCA notice for a web hosting company is like someone holding a gun to your head.

If they ignore them, they can be legally liable and get into a LOT of trouble. (Ran a hosting company for 2 years)

DMCA notice's are good, and if they doesn't work send a notice to whoever hosts the server (datacenter I mean) and tell them. A datacenter will shut down the entire server if a proper DMCA notice was issued and ignored.

It sucks that people can't use their own brains to design their own sites and or sales copy (I think they are just too Bloody Lazy). Why do people always try and steal other peoples work, take em down winebuddy. I hope they crash and burn.

I'd send a DMCA notice to them, their hosting company, and where their website is registered, plus contact Clickbank and tell them what's going on. Since you say you did that, I'd sit back and wait a few days. Clickbank, I would think, would pull it to keep it from being sold. That should take care of it.
