Ideas for monetising and providing value to a list of classical musicians?!

Almost by accident I ended up building a little (growing) list of musicians, mostly people playing brass, woodwind and string instruments. I am a little stuck as to how to provide some value to them on the one hand, so they stay reading, and of course to make some sales on the other.

So far I have mostly scouted for bargains, coupons etc. on the music retailers' sites to pass on to them, but I don't feel it's enough, and the response is lukewarm. On the other hand, though I know a LITTLE about music, there's not much I can tell them that they don't know, aside from interesting news from the musical world perhaps.

Anyone think of any decent PLR, ebooks, freebies or something else that might help me build a better relationship with this list? Suggestions gratefully received!

    Go the direct route :-)

Ask them. You can always send them a ask survey in your autoresponder.

Try the free tool like Survey Monkey
SurveyMonkey: Free online survey software & questionnaire tool

If not...it is inevitable to dive in those forums, and social networks to see what they are looking for.

Check out the customer reviews at Amazon is another great way to hear what your marketing is saying.

Thanks for the ideas, of course, forums are great for this kind of research, for some reason I completely forgot about that

Certainly a survey too, just to think of what I am actually going to ask them!

Who says you can't earn money as an eBay affiliate any more? My stats say otherwise

Classical musicians? WOW... Try to search for some Classical Music event, or something like that, you know, those ticket could cost a lot.

Try to buy some magazine in the classical musician niche - I am sure a lot of advertiser will advertise in that magazine. CHECK OUT THOSE ADVERTS. You will get an idea of what to be promoted.

Even better, you will get to know what kind of content you should be searching for, to feed your list. The magazine would be a great idea for reference!

Be an affiliate to some classical music CD online store, etc.

    You get the idea.

    Hope that helps.

Oh yea, when you're doing your survey, you can probably ask them who's their favorite classical and MODERN musician. Don't leave that out, there's a good chance that they are a fans of some kind of modern musician too.

Find out that, feed them with those targeted information.

    You're good to go then.

I was in a orchestra band too, and I know they buy A LOT of those instrument like trumpet, clarinet, euphonium, Tuba, Trombone etc, basically anything in that orchestra band. Don't forget to search for piano dealers too, or anything that related to an orchestra band.

So you can find a manufacturer Yamaha or some other better brands to talk about.

You can even make a deal with those instrument manufacturer in some cases, and try to strike some offers or be their affiliates, or whatever, to monetize your list.

You're in a golden niche, I can say
