Hello everyone,

I have been spending a lot of time on this forum lately and am very impressed with how helpful so many of you are to people who are just starting out.

I am in the process of creating a software in the gambling niche (my first product) and I have a question regarding joint ventures. I have heard multiple times that we should treat forums as if we are networking in real life and that we shouldn't be upfront about wanting to do a JV with someone but rather develop a friendship and see if we can help each other out down the road.

But aren't we all here for the same reason? Making money is the goal for all of us so it just seems odd to me that someone would take it as somewhat of an insult to spring out a JV offer out of the blue.

Any advice on finding JV partners and on JVs in general would be greatly appreciated!!

    Hey There,
Here's my honest opinion of what you should do. Get a simple business plan done or prospectus, get on BizQuest, list the opportunity on there using a pro-forma model for income projections, and make sure you sell the concept in your description. You may get lucky and find a partner who can help fund the venture and you may gain someone elses valuable insight who has more experience than yourself. We buy and sell companies all day and use this exact method to find funding for a lot of projects we do. Hope that helps!

      thomarv,

Appreciate your feedback however I am not in the need for funding. I am more interested in finding out about proper etiquette when trying to find people to help market my product while also sending out an affiliate offer to my list.

      Your insight is appreciated nonetheless.

Well. The best idea I can advice is to get a War Room membership and gain access to the JV section of this forum. Alternatively you can simply approach anyone you think you can work with and PM them (when you can).

A Joint Venture is supposed to be friendly and win-win, where skills of both parties can benefit each other. And making money is the mutual goal.

It seem to me that you need a "affllaite manager or product guy"

But the "relationhsip" of things can not totally ignored.
