Can you use a P.O. Box to comply with can-spam act?

Looking into building a list, address is required. Is PO box ok? I wouldnt feel comfortable showing my home address to the world.

Thanks

As far as I know a PO Box is fine. That's what I use, and what I see in a lot of the emails I get from other marketers.

Unless those can-spam people (who invented this thing...) pay a mailman for my village it MUST be OK. My postal address is a p.o.box and I have to go every day to the post office because... the postman doesn't ring even once
