First off: Big Congratulations on your great week with CB!

As to your question about what to do post-#1 rankings... Keep drip feeding those backlinks into your site. Depending on how competitive your niche is, you always want to stay one step ahead of the other guy, and doing a little work here and little work there to maintain your rankings can only lead to good things.

That's not to say those links have to be article links, though. There are many ways to link to your site. Be natural.

Well done. The important thing to do now is recognize what you did to make that money and scale it up. Hopefully, you are building a list as you go. That will open an entirely new revenue stream for you.

Congratulations, Shannon. Now try to deconstruct what gave you this record-breaking month, and then endeavor to spend as much of your time as possible doing it, so that you can build on your success and earn even more in the coming months.

Regarding your question, I think it'd be fine to keep writing articles to get more traffic to your site, but you don't have to do as much as before since your site is already on page 1 of Google.

Well i know one part of what made a great month was writing articles for a certain ClickBank product but do you guys have to keep writing all the time to earn good money on ClickBank or do you get to a certain point where you have so much content/websites out there that it just runs on autopilot?

Responding to your question: If your site is already on the first page of Google, build 2 backlinks a day. Don't keep writing articles, that's a lot of work for comparatively lower income. If you started with writing many articles that's fine, but now it's time to write less articles and rank permanently. You know the site converts, so slap your articles permanently on Google through legible backlinks AND move on to the next niche.

I would suggest you learn more ways to drive traffic to your site. Article marketing is a good way to start, but there are other methods you can use to drive traffic that are faster and easier once you get them set up. In online marketing, driving traffic is the key to sales. Check into link wheels.

wow keep going.. feels nice doesnt it. Bask in the glory and then use that to drive you on and work harder then ever. That is how I started, and when I had those $50 days in clickbank, i would use half of that, and outsource stuff I hated doing. With several clickbank accounts these day, 200 bucks is a sinch!!

Funny that the money just coming in like a bullet train after you start up-scaling your efforts. Work out what works smaller scale, then go all out with your traffic.....but most the very successful clickbank sellers have good list building skills, that will get you far in this game.

Congrats to you, very happy for you....heres cheers for your first $400 day. Then more after that.... Keep up the good work.

Just curious.. When you say publish article on website & then on other mediums, are you referring to spun article or a completely new article for each site

No i am talking about one article submitted to all of those different sites. You can spin if you want to but i still get good traffic from the same article.

Congrats.. Once your site's ranked, you ensure that you build more links to it and eliminate chances of your competition taking over you. A little bit of content optimization and internal linking(linking from other pages on your site has to be done).

Now you move to the next site.

  As for your question re: the first page of google - I always take different approaches depending on the strength of the competition.
  
  You only need to be better than they are... so if you have weak competition you do not need as much work to stay at the top

I think everyone's answered the google questions - depends on yr niche really and what everyone else is doing (I mean those others on the front page alongside you). Best to keep if going slowly slowly and see what happens to that ranking.

great feeling though isn't it ?!! I don't sell aff products but I remember when I got my first paying client - was a big rush

Thanks, Well i just made a landing page for the product i am promoting and wrote 5 or 6 post about it. Write about it like you would talk to a friend. Don't try to be too salesy and provide good quality information all the time.
