Question About Using Similar Plug-Ins in WordPress

Hello Warriors,

I am trying to rank a WordPress blog for a certain keyword. To maximize the SEO of this blog, I installed both Meta SEO Pack and All In One SEO plug-ins for the blog.

Would there be a problem with regards to SEO if I use both of these plug-ins which have similar features and uses?

    I don't know much about plugins but I don't really see the point in using two plugins that do the same job. Wouldn't one override the other anyway?

    Best SEO plugin I've found is Headspace. You might want to give that a try.

    As far as I know, both these plugins help you set the meta tags for different pages. By using two similar plugins you'll either end up with duplicate meta tags or worse, conflicting ones.

      Sometimes similar plugins do conflict with each other, and when they do, there might be some errors in your blog or neither of the plugins will work. As for the effect on SEO, maybe you can do a test by doing an actual search for the terms you optimized for and see which plugin settings turned up in the results. Then just use that and deactivate the other. I suggest sticking with one plugin though because it's much simpler.

    Hi 2dok, I prefer for All in one SEO plug-ins... I am using that plug-in and tried related plug-ins but I don't find any errors on it...

    But you are still free to take the opinion of other WF users.
