well i would like to create a "brand" under wich i would be selling ebooks, articles, and later maybe some more stuff (im graphics, websites...).

it would be great to collect some ideas with and without extensions:

    redshark (no extension)
    redshark media (extension)
    redshark marketing (extension)

but i cant come up with any cool unique name :S

i don't think it's our place to get you a name for your brand. I mean, yeah ok, there are lots of words you can use, but in the end, you are the only one knowing what you want exactly. Not to mention the fact that we have no idea to which audience you'll be referring to, what products you will sell etc. If someone should come up with a brand name, you need to be a lot more specific. Either way, I still think you're the only one fit to find a suitable name.

although the idea is a bit unprofessional, you could use the word "true" to develop a brand name. Since your username is true900, you could use this word along with an extension; your example of redshark marketing could work, like true redshark marketing; it's the only thing i could think of. Hope it helps.

You could just go with true. It could be even simpler than supernatural_fan suggested. Instead of True Redshark Marketing something like TRUE Marketing. Your brand could be TRUE. TRUE Marketing, TRUE Media and more of the like. Just make sure to have TRUE in all caps so it stands out as a brand instead of an adjective.

Yeah, that's what i suggested as well. To build the brand around the name true and add an extension like marketing. the reason why i said it would be a bit unprofessional is that it's not like i put a lot of thought into it; I just took a glance at your username and figured it out. But keep in mind that, like mad.hat said, you need to highlight the word true as the actual brand, and not like an adjective. Good luck!

I reckon, you don't need to "copy" or get ideas from other brands to start your own. Don't you think a personal or a derivative of something meaningful to you would appeal more to you in the long run? It doesn't even have to ultra-fancy. Who'd ever thought Blackberry (as Istvan mentioned) would be as recognizable a brand name it is today.
