Which Would You Rather Pay Your Outsourcer to Do?

OK, so I have got a little team together of PA's now to help out with promoting my network and generating backlinks. I am experiementing getting them to do different stuff.

I'd be interested to see what you think is the most important task to get them working on to get your websites ranking and traffic going to them.

I am not including article writing in list as I have dedicated article writers who produce articles, I don't then make them submit them. I use software to submit articles, I can't see point of getting submissions done manually.

Options are (tell me ideas for more options and I'll add them) :

1. Comment on blogs with a properly written message relevant to post. Link back done through the URL field in comment form.

2. Create profile pages on forums and social sites

3. Post in forums making replies on topic to thread. Backlink in signature of post.

4. Submit to classified sites

5. Submit to directories

6. Emailing bloggers asking if they want content for their site or to provide blogroll links.

7. What other tasks would be good to get them to do?

What do you get your outsource link builder / trafic generators to work on?

Personally, from your list I would choose them to post in forums. For me, backlinks from forum posts are a good way to promote site and improve rankings.

However, I'd do what you're not including and outsource my articles!

Might consider this if I had someone I trusted to make comments that add value. Difficult for me to outsource this, really.

To me, that's just spamming the web.

Again, if I had someone I trusted to add value. Again, difficult to outsource, for most of my niches.

Happy to outsource this, if it doesn't breach any sites' terms of service.

I do this myself with a more-or-less standard email offering content for their sites. I've never thought about outsourcing it, but can't immediately see a reason why not. Interesting suggestion!

Linkwheel-ish structures: littlw websites on which I can post copies of my articles as part of a backlinking strategy for my main sites.

    Good luck!

I had a blip with my software this morning so I had them setup some forum account and make some posts. Problem was that it took really long compared to other ways of getting links. In time it takes to make 10 forum accounts, setup profile and make a post of any relevance I could of written an article, added spin syntax and submitted it to a few hundred different places. Its my second least favourite method (directory submission being my least favourite).

@Alexa: I agree, doing things yourself means they get done properly, but I wanna be chilling on a tropical beach somewhere sipping cocktails while other people do the work for me . One day it might happen, gotta dream lol

Truth be told I got the idea from you. You have mentioned a few times in other posts that you make contact with bloggers and offer them content. I liked this idea. I was playing around with some software called IBP today. It lets you build up lists of websites and automatically pulls the website owners contact details out.

It supports templates so I am thinking to load up a few templates and make some instructions for a cheap VA to handle the sending out and I just deal with the replies. I hired someone to use IBP for me in the past (about 5 years ago lol) and it worked well then just asking people for links, but I reckon this could work OK now.

Do you find pulling the contact info from the domain and emailing them or making a comment on one of their posts works best for getting their attention and cooperation?

To be fair, most people don't have quite my reservations about "not being in control of it", I think.

I do outsource stuff (mostly "SEO stuff" - outsourced to some good people in India) and actually now spend more than $1,000 per month on doing so, though, so I'm clearly in your target audience.

Interesting idea: I can certainly see the attraction of this.

They vary, of course, but my guess is that an email's better, overall. Will be interested to hear others' views about this.

Yeah, if you bought some of the popular forum profile backlinks you can outsource the backlink creation. There are also some free ones to sign up to. These are generally very powerful and you don't have to worry about the quality of your team because its mostly just copy and paste.

If you think that your team can handle it then next would be busting out some linkwheels. You could even wheel together your forum profiles for some extra bang.

    Bottom line is...

Which of those things are you getting results from and making money with now?

If you're already getting results from something, that is what you want to do more of (or in this case hire someone to do more of).
