I kinda like your idea, I do have some articles that I need to be "converted" into videos. Thanks!

I use GFX video writer and overall my experience with the program has been satisfactory.

Being a techie I like to run my computer with an absolute minimum of programs so I can get maximum speed. I was a bit disappointed after I bought GFX video writer to find out that I had to have .Net Framework installed.

So I went to plan B and set up a dedicated machine which made using GFX acceptable.

It does work as advertised, it's quick and easy however for some reason, just for me I guess, it only renders video in high-quality and not normal quality. Not too big a deal except for the larger file size.

You'd think on a dedicated machine with a clean install and nothing else going on it should just work, go figure. Anyway, the company did respond quickly to my query however as of yet they haven't found a solution.

GFX video writer formats the slides based on the formatting of the input file. So to have less editing inside GFX it's better if you can format your text file ahead of time.

I was able to make a macro using a free program called Auto Hotkey that formats the text and then saves it as a new file name (so I don't mess up the original). This lets me go from text file to video file (less the render) in about three minutes flat.

If you do decide to get GFX video writer keep an eye out for coupons. The company does run specials throughout the year.

I bought the GFX Video Writer and just can't seem to get past the buggy software. I had heard how responsive the support was but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

I recently signed up for the Article Video Robot and like it alot. I used a coupon for 50% off but the $25 a month is still steep. The voices aren't the worst I have ever heard but there is no doubt they are not real humans.

I agree. I think that one of the most powerful things you can do as a marketer is to be real and personal. A computer generated voice over is the fastest way to ruin raport.

Well said Paulie - computer generated voices are not going to build any rapport, trust or credibility with potential prospects. A video article like this is often the first point of contact someone will have with your business - for this reason it needs to be of decent quality and establish some credibility if you are going to get people to click through to your website.

Here's how I reposition articles via various media:

1. Post unique articles you have written yourself to your site/blog. I never use PLR, ever. Your own authentic voice is essential, plus the content is unique to you from your own personal experience of your niche, no ghost writer can reach the depth of your 'market knowledge'.

2. Turn the article into a video simply by recording you reading the article you wrote in step 1 into an MP3 player or directly into your computer. Make sure the quality is exceptional, using your own voice. Learn how to read properly using voice tone for emphasis. It's a learned skill. Create a video using a simple graphic that brands the video with your website or whatever you are trying to position in the public's mind. Mention your site in the intro and outro.

So many videos out there are not videos as we usually understand, as there is no action involved, and many folk won't stick around to watch, but many will open your video in a new window and simply listen to the audio.

3. Turn the audio into a podcast.

4. Now upload your video and podcast to the various networks out there.

From my experience you are better off creating a single, unique article that offers true value to the reader/listener than a hundred junky articles created using rewriters, ghostwriters, PLR etc. Why? Because authentic content gets shared and linked to. Crap never does.

There is nothing more powerful than authenticity combined with real-world experience of your chosen subject. And in the world of social media where value is judged by real human beings and not just SE algorithms, it is becoming ever more essential for success in business.

I couldn't agree more. The voice sounds so artificial and is very distracting, and I doubt it'd hold the attention of anyone viewing the video. These videos may be good for backlinking purposes, but I highly doubt that they'll result in any conversions.
