Can my Clickbank commission be stolen or left out like this?

If this has already been asked I apologize in advance but did not find the answer.

So here is my question...
I have been promoting some niche things on clickbank (not in the making money or internet marketing niche at all) and I was curious what happens when I redirect to the hoplink?

Let's say I send someone to the clickbank product and there is a section where the vendor can capture emails and send autoresponder messages out. Does that mean if someone doesn't buy right away but gets the autoresponder from the vendor and decides to buy- do I still get my commission or no?

Also let's say I just presell the heck out of the product is there a away to link directly to the buy button or sales page vs. a squeeze page and still get my commission?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

Yes 9 times out of 10 your affiliate cookie is tracked even when they sign up to a vendors email list like in a Clickbank product.

I have made tons of sales like this. But a lot of marketers would prefer too not promote a product with a squeeze page or opt-in form because there is always a chance of a shady vendor or your tracking cookie getting lost somewhere in the mix.

I would try to find products to promote with no squeeze pages or opt-in forms but yes I have made sales sending visitors to an affiliates sign up form and made commissions.

They follow up with the visitor when they sign up for their list and try to close the sale with your affiliate link as the referring affiliate.

Would I recommend it no. If you can send them to a straight sales page with no opt-in form I would say its a lot safer.

    Hope that helps!

Oh thats nothing I just promoted a product the other day through a solo I sent out. Little did Iknow that the sales page suddenly changed from a sales page to a dang blog full of nothing but amazon ads. Talk about being pissed. I sent that site over 400 visitors in a matter of a few hours mainly from my own list. Oh well its not like it cost me anything but a few of my own subscribers. Anyhow to answer your question unless the person who visited through your link cleared their cookies then you have a chance to get that sale within 60 days. I may be wrong on the 60 days but I know it is atleast 60 it might be 90 days though. I know that cb just changed a few things in their policy I just havent had the time to read it. Soley because I just started yet another new site earlier this month. So I am working on just getting that to where I want it to be before I worry about other things.
