Useless PR 1,2, and 3 Websites, what to do

I was about to let a another domain expire, on that really wasn't worth renewing - small site, very low income, etc. when I noticed it somehow had a PR or 3

I have a few of these - PR 1 to 3 sites that I don't have time for and that are basically worthless to me.

So what do you do with these?

Try to sell?
Let them expire?
Set them up with their own IP addresses and use them for linking to your other sites?

Like many others, I've got too many sites, but throwing away a domain with PR seems silly - or is it? We are only talking 1-5 page content sites

    If it's worth nothing to you, is it going to be worth something to others? It's hard to say. My guess is probably not.

    Maybe you should let them go if you think your time will be better spent focusing on the domains that are performing.

    Getting a PR-1 is not hard to do - it's almost automatic with a little age. But the 3's - well, let's see... you could quietly rent 5 or 10 backlinks from each of them. Simple montiization plan. At least they'd be worth keeping, and be paying their own way.

    Have you checked what kind of traffic the sites get? If the websites already get a good amount of traffic, you could consider promoting something like CPA or AdSense through them in order to pay for the cost of having them. If you can make any money with them at all, the value of the site goes up. Once that happens, you could sell them on Flippa, or here at the WF.
