Separate landing page for ClickBank?

Basically, I have my home LP that I use already, can I create like mydomain.com/cb and have that be my clickbank page?

If not, can I just reverse it? Meaning throw my normal LP right now on like mydomain.com/old and send the traffic I always have there, and send the CB traffic to mydomain.com?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, never been a vendor on CB before and looking forward to it

Also, how do you split test landers on CB? Do they allow it? I am wondering if a traditional style lander (long sales letter) would work better, or the current site I have set up. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Just checked the Clickbank vendor's guide twice, and couldn't find anything.

Your CB page can be anywhere. So yourdomain.com/cb is fine. I personally use one home page with a script called clickbankswitch Combine The Power Of Clickbank And Paypal that looks for the hop link in the referring URL. If it sees it, it shows the clickbank button and grabs the affiliate id. If it doesn't, it'll show my paypal link. Works great!

If you have it on mydomain.com/cb then it won't be taken as seriously by affiliates, they will also wonder if youre going to try to direct people back to your homepage or to another payment option and cut them out... look in the clickbank top 50.. everyone there really has it on their homepage and no links / leaks to other possible payment options... and you should too if you want / think your product can be very successful.

What I like to do is buy an alternative domain (like the .net of your domain) and use that for Clickbank.

I think I am going to do that. Do you think there will be some problems though with leaving my other landing page up with my other payment options? Should I change the name of the product possibly? Has anyone done this that can comment on how well this works? Maybe specifically with how affiliates feel about this.

We just use index_cb.html on the same domain no problem. I also made a clickbank images directory just to keep things organized.

I have no agenda but to help those in the same situation. This I feel will pay the bills.
