Moneymakerinfo.blogspot.com Disappeared?!

the blog hasn`t re-appeared. It was 4 years old and ranked for `make money online `.

The owner of this blog must not really like blogging anymore...

    Unbelievable.

Why the hell would you have a ranking blog like that NOT on your own hosting?

What do you mean by "disappeared?" I just went to the domain and there is a blog there. Do you mean it disappeared from Google?

His site hasn`t been indexed on Google for a while. I think it disappeared, its no where in top 1000 for make money online. Blogger.com is pure garbage.

Moneymakerinfo.blogspot.com is and was a pretty good blog he had a lot of good info on it.

Like you said he was number 1 for make money online for a few years consistently. But his mistake was building his blog on quicksand. (via) the Blogger platform I think he now realizes he should of switched over to a self hosted Wordpress blog.

I know his ranking has dropped considerably for that keyword phrase if I was him I would be switching over to a self hosted Wordpress blog A.S.A.P now is the time to do it. Just cut your losses and start building back up again.

He will still have all his content which will help with his rankings right out of the gate.

Maybe he just quit, and since "make money online" is so competitive, people began to outrank him.

I don't think he got rid of his blog, it was suspended by Google/blogspot for a while and then reinstated. Unfortunately, the blog lost its high ranking after it got reinstated, and as a result the owner has lost thousands of dollars due to this snafu.

This is why it's so important to get a self-hosted blog solution like Wordpress where you have more control over it, and there is no third party to arbitrarily shut it down for some reason or another.

The blog is opening here at my browser (I've checked several times that whether it's coming from cache or directly from server and it's from server).

Anyone else is able to open it, is it open by Google after this thread?

always have your own host so you have total control of your content. Blogger can take down any blog hosting on their platform whenever like. What I don't get is, if he was making so much money and ranking #1 on Google why didn't he get a web host?

  • are you on about grizzlys blog? if so he created a blogger blog to show everyone that anything can be ranked with the right tactics.

Obviously he didn't anticipate this happening. His methods were to do with adsense? maybe they saw or thought something dodgy was going on, or that his influence was too big and it had to be stopped. Could be a number of reasons.

Jason, I think you hit this right on the nail here. Boasting about how to game Google seems to get some of these big sites in trouble. We all know how big G feels about SEO and affiliate marketing!

it could just be that he got banned from some of googles services and unindexed him.. or mabye he didnt want google to index it... any number of reasons im sure the owner knows why its happened..

If he was earning a lot of money a day (over $100) he may have attracted the attention of G. So they started watching it more keenly. Maybe they noted he was using some black hat ways of getting back links... just maybe. There could be other issues.

Google does not like it when you talk about it apparently. I think for every site self-hosting is the way to go. If you can not afford multiple domains, you can always make new subdomains.

I can empathize with that man...

I had something like that happened to me when I started out! I was a little better off though. The big G just decided to pop my site back into the rankings, randomly!

I think it has got something to do with his PLR articles that google thinks as duplicate content thus his blog was penalized. It has nothing to do being hosted in Blogger.com Sad indeed!

The post that this thread refers to was made in April. I seem to recall that it was mentioned here on the WF at the time.

I guess the owner appealed to Google/Blogger and the site was reinstated, but just doesn't get ranked.

The content in the blog was not the same as before anymore. Now all we can read are guest posts. So I guess he must have settled with his own hosting now. I believe he never expected this because 4 years ago Google as not so strict on blogger.

How was he able to rank so high so fast? I think quantity of content is underrated when it comes to SEO. Remember, google's goal is to provide people with the most relevant content.

I've got a few dozen blogger sites that I haven't even updated for years, and they're still pulling adsense and Amazon earnings, LOL! Never had a problem with any of them. They're not IM related, though.

Regardless of whether or not you have a problem, you still have zero equity to show for your accomplishments.

        It all belongs to Google.

I have always thought that Blogger sites have more ranking power in Google because Blogger is owned by Google. Now I think that it's a bad idea to build an authority site in Blogger.

It's just like spending a lot of money to renovate an apartment you are renting, when you can spend a little more to buy or build your own house.
