Art and Poster Affiliate Marketing

art.com and allposters.com pay 20% at least. Not as much as ebooks but much more than amazon.

Posters range from $20 to $30 unframed. If framed they go to $100 to $300 depending on the size.

Pretty good money but I haven't found anything on making it as an art posters affiliate. No articles, no books, no ebooks, no courses, no threads, no seminars. Nada.

Does anyone have any experience being an art posters affiliate? It seems like art.com and allposters.com are really the only ones besides amazon which only pays 4% to 8% on poster sales.

Any strategies? SEO? Social networking? Adwords?

    I haven't tried that type of market yet but you may want to try the usual online marketing stuff like articles and social networking. I think you can use articles on this to describe the artwork and to drive traffic on your site.

      SEO is the sure way to go with art marketing. I am on my way with allposters, I get around 15 customers a day, but no purchases yet. You will get a purchase for around every 400 hits from laser targeted traffic from google, yahoo and bing. Be sure to choose keywords with some competition, this way you know there is some money in it!

      Don't forget the stats page also counts hits from spiders crawling your links on each page, But they do try to block most of them in your stats.

    For allposters.com affiliates program, I think you could use media buying to promote the products.

    Just buy an adspace through BuySellAds on a website that related to music or celebrity. Put your ads on the site and direct linking it to the posters' sales page. Or you could link the ads first with your own landing page, to get a better conversion.

    I think... Pinterest is also a good medium to promote the posters.
