Problem When Adding a Link To Page In Wordpress

I have inserted link (www.mysite.com/go) to the text, however when I view the page and point the cursor to that text its url is www.mysite.com/www.mysite.com/go and direct to 404 Error page.

I don't know what the problem is...

it is maybe you have a problem in doing it, some problem you might did is:

    Links containing the “@” symbol

If you try to put this (for example)

into the Add Link page, the “@” gets removed for security reasons and unfortunately means that your link will not work.
To get around this, you need to instead enter #64; as in the image below:

HTML Basics 101: every link starts with http:// - and NOT with www. And this is NOT a WordPress problem. It is the ignorant user problem.

If you are in the internet "business", learn the basics of the internet. It's that simple.

Try deleting everything you have so far set up and in its place type the anchor text you plan to use. Highlight that anchor text and from the menu bar at the top of the post select the "link" option - you will see it already contains the http://

Enter the remainder of the url you wish to use and click Okay. WordPress will then enter the link correctly for you.
