Software Or Programme You Can't Live Without...

If there was one piece of software, programme or bit of kit you just couldn't live without, what would it be and why?

    Probably just Market Samurai, for me.

    I don't really use (because I don't need) much else.

    Sure, I can do everything it does manually, or with the aid of FireFox plugins and separate rank-checkers and what not - but Market Samurai makes everything so much easier; it consolidates and streamlines my keyword research, SEO-competition research and rank checking activities.

    It can even fix my bicycle.

    I'd have to vote for RoboForm. It's been extremely useful in managing all of my logins and automating personal data entry (on most web forms).

    I save a lot of time with this tool.

      I've been thinking about getting Dragon for a while, to use for writing the first draft of my articles (which I'd then edit, later, by hand).

      I tried the Windows 7 voice recognition stuff, but it was absolute crap, really. Then again, I wasn't using a headset microphone - I only tried it with the one built into my laptop, and a regular stand-mic.

      Does it *really* save any time, and is it a requirement that you have a headset to use with it?

      Not sure what it'd be like with British accents (particularly mine, which - being from the north-east - is not exactly "Queen's english", to say the least, lol).

      I used RoboForm for a while, but I got this Lenovo laptop in July and custom-configured it with a fingerprint reader. Crackin' stuff.

    I've just tried the Windows 7 recognition with a headset Mic and it works well. I'm from the north west of the UK, not sure if it will save me any time typing though. In fact I wrote most of this with it.
