What do you think I should do?

I'm a bit unsure on a couple of things here. I have a website that I started just over 2 months ago www.koodayonline.com and it is doing ok. Well I think it is but I spose that is all relative to experience. It averages around 50 unique visitors a day which gives it a monthly traffic rank on ALexa of 215,000. Most of those visitors come from a couple of ads that I have on the site involved and a lot of the rest is probably from links posted in facebook in groups that also have to do with it.

Ok there are a few things I'm writing this post for, mainly I suppose to see if some people could have a look and advise on a few things,

1. I do not seem to be getting anyone to join my program from it. Is that because it is too hard to find the info and links? Maybe it would be better to put a banner or something in the sidebar?
2. Is the design of my site ok. I believe the top header is too big. I may need to remove parts of it.
3. Do I have too many pages or does that not matter?
4. Would it be better to not have the full post for each blog and instead have something like a click here to read more type setup?
5. Anything else I could improve?

That's basically it.
I'd appreciate any comments

Thanks

Links in top area in black background are easily missed.

No direct and obvious call-to-action, and no explanation as to why I should sign up -- not really.

You are loading the blog posts to the front page of your site. You should load a static page to your front end, so you can help people quickly understand your site and what you want them to do.

You need to clarify the message of exactly what the site does without making users click or search for it.

Ideally, visitors should know what you do within a couple of seconds of 'glancing' at your homepage (above the fold), so add a succinct and clear explanation along with a strong call to action.

    I would start there...

I agree with tpw. would also add that if you're doing this for business. You should definitely look into investing into a custom design, or at least getting a theme shows that you are professional.the menu also looks like a jumbled mess. I can't tell where one link ends and where the next one starts. you should also consider adding an opt in form that shows on every page in the sidebar and also an opt in form bottom of each post. those would be my ideas. good luck.

Generally, I don't like giving free advice because few people ever
truly value it and do something with it -- but because I love this
forum and all it's done for me, I'm sure when you make this work
you too will come back and share your experience and knowledge:

    1. I do not seem to be getting anyone to join my program from it. Is that because it is too hard to find the info and links? Maybe it would be better to put a banner or something in the sidebar?

You answered your own question. It's too much. It appears to me
you want to make SALES, not run a blog as a business. Making
money with a blog model will give you the challenges you face.

Forget about the banner on the sidebar. I'm f**king serious about
this. Just. Don't. Do it. Putting a banner ad to drive people to
where you WANT them to go doesn't make any sense when you
can drive the traffic from where you're getting it, to HERE:

Kooday - Fast Track To A Diamond Income (Free EBook) | Kooday Online

THAT...is your focus. If you want to do direct response marketing,
forget about everything else and drive traffic to THAT one page.
That's where you are getting your results and feedback. An opt-in
    page.

    2. Is the design of my site ok. I believe the top header is too big. I may need to remove parts of it.

Again. Your focus should ONLY be here:
Kooday - Fast Track To A Diamond Income (Free EBook) | Kooday Online

That is what's working for you, and you don't even know it
yet. when people ARE lucky to find that one page, they give
you feedback and are clearly anticipating the report.

Focus on driving traffic to this one page, and you won't have
to worry about some stupid banner. Banners doesn't make
    money and sales. Words do.

    3. Do I have too many pages or does that not matter?

It matters only if you're intentions are to do direct response
marketing. If you are a "blogger", than the more pages you
have the more content you can leverage to drive traffic to
    your blog.

But you WANT a direct response campaign. You told me this.
So in YOUR case, you DO have too many pages. Because
    guess what?

You should focus on this one: Kooday - Fast Track To A Diamond Income (Free EBook) | Kooday Online

    4. Would it be better to not have the full post for each blog and instead have something like a click here to read more type setup?

You're confusing me here. You either WANT the blog or you
don't. Yes, you can ADD a pop-up opt-in page to your blog,
but if you're just starting I recommend focusing on writing
emails that sell your program and do the blog some other
    time...

unless you have this strange passion to share your feelings
in a blog. If that's more important to you than making money
(coming from someone who markets and does direct response
marketing for a living and as a passion) -- than that's your
    choice.

    5. Anything else I could improve?

Start with what I gave you. I gaurantee you most people
here would agree with me on this if you need the confirmation.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I think a static page to load up first is easy to introduce then have them move to the main blog. I agree the menu is becoming jumbled as the more I add to it the more that goes there. I would be happy to do away with the menu bar at the top and just have the sidebar one. The other possibility is a different theme.

I'll have to see what I can come up with and maybe get people to have a second look.

Once again thanks for the comments so far.
Benjamin - yes the EBook page with opt-in is where I can do best as that is building a list. I agree with that. The object of running the rest as a blog is twofold. First it is making it valuable for members to want to visit the site which in turn will mean some will go to the EBook. Secondly by having more traffic I am also getting better search engine rankings which means that all the pages including the EBook are ranking better for others that are looking to find it.

I have a call to action plugin that comes up at the end of each blogpost however I think it only comes up if the post is opened in entirety. This means it would be better for me to have the posts limited at a certain amount of lines with the 'read more here' setup. I haven't managed to get that to work previously though, may have to give it another go.
