Godaddy and Private Registration

I have a bunch of domain that will expire in a couple of weeks and want to know if I really need private registration? I want to let it expire but do not want my home address to be shown. I did buy a PO Box for Aweber and want to know if I can add that PO Box for my address information? Or does godaddy want a real address? Thanks

Think it's ICANN that fusses about bogus addresses. Here's some ideas, take 'em if you like:

Use your P.O. Box but give the address of the actual physical building of the Post Office building where your box is located. Send a practice letter addressed that way 1st to make sure this works at your location.

Give out your next door neighbors address. If a letter comes for you at his address, most neighbors would let you know and give you the letter.

I know that works (the PO box) if you use a private post box service. I don't think the actual Post Office allows it. As far as using the neighbors address, ouch.

I dumped Godaddy with this last price increase. I sent them a letter before hand telling them I would if they did. They told me that their prices were increasing... yet it is interesting that small companies can give a better price. The raised the price, despite my letter to Parson. I moved all my domains and hosting to Arvixe. The then sent me a letter giving me 10% off if I would stay. Forget it. I told them.... I told you what I would do it you raised prices. I won't do any business with GoDaddy. Oh, and no CPanel what's up with that?
