Trying to Feed to Google Products

Hi all,

I have been trying to get a .txt file uploaded to Google Products, but I keep getting errors saying that there are required fields missing. I made sure that all required fields are there and are populated appropriately (id, title, link, price, description, condition), but Google is still saying no.

Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe a template that they know works and are willing to share?

I am using Open Office and have watched Google's video training on how to save the file and have saved it like they say to.

Thanks in advance!

Edward

What are you using to create the file?
Best to use a spreadsheet program, then save as tab-delimited.

In other words, you need the right format. All headings (id, title, etc.,)
are part of the header, each getting a separate column.

If not, you run the risk of words and columns running together.

Here's a good example using spreadsheet:

Here's an example for plain .txt:

I am using Open Office spreadsheet.

I'll check the links you provided and then try again.
