There are so many god damn different ways to go online that it just feels like im throwing mud at a wall.. hoping something will stick long enough for me to realize thats my niche

What about you? Does it feel like your throwing mud at a wall? Hoping something just one DAMN thing would work well?

    Nope. That's why you need to research. There's enough data in this day and age where you can make sure you're right on target.

    I'm not going to ask you what niche you've been focussing on because you wouldn't want to give that up but whatever your niche is, you need to find out if it is a buyer's market.

    There are several ways to make money in any niche. The key is to focus on one way and stick with it.

    You don't need to be in several niches to make a good income.

    It's easy to get distracted by all the IM shiny objects... Today's it's Mobile Marketing, then SEO, then PPC, etc.).

    You need to focus in on 1 thing, become a master of that 1 thing before you move onto anything else.

      When you don't have a plan then that is exactly what you are doing. Throwing mud against the wall. Find something that works and when it stops time to start making mud cakes to find the next money maker.

      Sounds like a lot of work and a lot of heartbreak to me. I think I will just follow my own plan since it seems to be working out very nicely.
