What tasks do you repeat daily?

Hey Everyone,

Just doing a bit of research....

What computer tasks do you keep doing repeatedly everyday?

Can be anything such as....

- Logging in to the same website.
- Posting a tweet every few minutes on twitter.
- Posting new articles on article websites.

Anything that you would like to be automated while you go do other things.

Looking forward to your replies

Recky.

Personally, I hit the Insanity workouts before delving too deeply into the daily computer routines.

My morning routine consists of checking stats and taking notes on if it was a good or bad day. I then put that against what I did for promotion on the day before, and determine if the sites have become viral or not. Then I move on to a checklist of things I need to do. The checklist is of course the basics, such as content creation, publication, promotions, with 10 minute breaks between each area (So I don't go insane).

the main thing which i do every day without any exception is checking my e-mail...another thing that i do is checking all the sites through which i intend to make money (from blogs to ptc sites); then i'm looking through online stores that sell electronics to see if the price of my must-have graphic card has been chewed off...and the list can go on and on; i do a lot of repetitive actions on my computer, but these are currently the main ones

Check my stats and my email. That about sums it up for every single day. Of course, there are various other marketing activities and content writing, but what they are depends on the project and day of the week.

I have some different training programs I am going through. I work 3 days on one and 4 days on another.

I set aside 4 days to work on websites or other projects 4 days per week.

I try post blogs and articles 3 times per week.

      Make videos promoting my post.

I spend 1 hour everyday with personal development. (20 minute walk, 20 minutes of reading, 20 minutes affirmations, visualization)

I go to the gym 5 times per week.

Then whatever else I can squeeze in there.

I start by cooking a healthy, balanced meal (usually 5 egg whites, cup of oatmeal and 2 turkey bacon strips). While doing this, I check stats, email, & bank accounts.

Make my way to the gym (~1 hour)

Come home, and start down a "To-Do List" that I made myself the previous day.

        This usually has on it:
Daily time deadlines for projects (or micro projects) in listed order
        Calls to business clients
        Meetings with business clients
        Some form of copy writing
An hour (or two sometimes) of research (current/future projects)
        etc.

Then, I sit and create tomorrows "To-Do List" based on things I accomplished or didn't accomplish

I used to check my email and stats all the time, especially when I was new to CPA marketing and it was exciting to see the stats change every time I refreshed the page.

I have grown out of that habit now, because I eventually realized it was totally unproductive and a complete waste of time.

Nowadays, I check my email perhaps once every 2 hours, and try to really focus on my to-do list that I write up in advance so that I don't get sidetracked.

I also check my stats and emails far too many times a day - something to work on. Check analytics, check overnight earnings, check emails and then order link building activities. Good thread because I think lots of us are in the same boat - obsessing about earnings and stats and yet it doesnt really make a difference if you do once a day or 10 times a day!

Checking your stats can prove to be a useful thing. You just have to realize that checking your stats once per day is all you need to do. Then you need to find a way to pull information from your stats, such as "I did [details] yesterday, and got [results] today." Then determine if you need to change the way you are doing things. If you do not get results, why continue on the same path?

I spend more time writing articles and translating dreams than doing anything else.

I would love if I could keep writing, without wasting any time for posting links and promoting my business.

It would also be wonderful if I could automatically find JV partners and active affiliates, who would actually promote my ebooks.

    Thanks for asking!

      Daily?

Well every second day I work out.

I check my e-mails about every 3 hours - that's enough. Checking them every 5 minutes just totally tears you out of your current context and you have to get back into what you were doing.

I go through all the boards of this forum about twice a day now.

Other than that I am currently exploring what to do for a daily work base (other than the things I do for my studies)

For me, the biggest time and attention sucker, I'm ashamed to admit, isn't one of repeating mundane and routine tasks on the computer, nor of web-based distractions; it's my guitars.

If someone could invent a bot that can remove one of my guitars from the wall, practise scales and learn new chord voicings and stuff for me, and then serenade me, I'd be most appreciative.

And I'd probably be a lot better off financially, too.
