In most cases, you should use your blog to promote your own squeeze page...so you can build your own mailing list...and when the visitors become your subscribers then you can promote your aff.links...

Just out of curiousity, is it a forgone conclusion that successful internet marketing has to take place in the Clickbank "system"?

        Here's my suggestion:

        1. step: Publish a review of the clickbank product on your website and put your affiliate links in it with strong calls to action in it.

        2. step: Write blog posts and articles around that product, and send all that traffic to your review page then.

This helped me increase conversions tremendously. Hopefully, it will work for you too. Good luck!
