What wrong with this fantastic website?

First thing I notice is you need an option for the readers to buy the products your promoting without actually having to scroll down the page. I know this sounds little but it can actually be important, so make sure you recommend your top product "above the fold" as in at the top of your page.

Maybe someone else can help you with other problems, I always create simple looking sites so im not the best to give advice in this area. I don't notice much of a conversion difference from my best looking sites to my simple default wordpress theme sites.

Sure thing you should stick to it!!! Why stop at only one article and one squidoo lens? As the old saying goes, if it works, simply rinse and repeat!

The key to squidoo lenses & bum marketing is to FUNNEL the traffic to YOUR AUTHORITY Website... that yes, is much more stable in the long term for having your own Internet Business.

NOOOO... not How wrong... but How RIGHT! You have got the right idea... you see, third party sites like squidoo, blogger, article sites, are a great place to start and test out the market and in the long run are merely a way to drive traffic to your REAL website.

Think about it, if you published all your articles (with links to your affiliate pages) to lets say just squidoo... and then down the road, they shut-down their business... well that shuts your business down too.

It's much smarter & safer to have your own content hosted at your own website. The only difference is that it takes much longer for your site to gain some good PR, SERP's, and look like an authority figure.

I actually liked the first site a little better on the eyes than the second site...

One suggestion I do have is to move your review products ABOVE THE FOLD... so basically have a short welcome sentence then show your products... then put the rest of the text BELOW your product reviews.

To be honest, that's not very much traffic at all. You need to continue building traffic until you reach at least the 100-200 visitors a day mark, then you will start to see consistent 1-2 sales/day (as long as your visitors are targeted and your products are high quality)

It'll take a lot more than 10 visit a day to make a sale. Heck 100 visitors a day to a ultra targeted sales letter is pushing it these days. You need to kill it in one area that you enjoy the most and have fun with article writing? video review on youtube? Stick to one traffic method that you do well or feel more comfortable doing.

The first thing I noticed was that the page took about 20 seconds to load, despite having very few graphics. I have a very fast connection, and most sites load very quickly. I'm not sure what caused the delay, but I would look into it if I were you.

Maybe this is just because I'm a graphic designer, but I feel like the design of a site can make a huge difference in perceived 'authority' of a website.

I just changed the graphics and layout of my membership site, and my conversion rate skyrocketed -- an increase of more than 10x! I'm thinking about creating a case study, because it really blew me away!

Of course, a really nice layout is expensive, and may not be worth spending the money on just yet.

And as Chris mentioned, 1-2% is a great conversion rate for a Clickbank product. If you're only getting 10-15 visitors a day, even if half of them click on one of your links (which I'd say is pushing it), you're still looking at only 5-7 referral visitors a day to the sales letters. It could take weeks to refer one sale, and it would still be completely within a normal conversion range.

I dont think you can get sales with just 10 - 15 visits a day. Otherwise you would potentially get 10 sales from just 100 visits.

I thought it have been my connection, as it took way to long to load. Seems more a slow server/hosting problem. That could be a big problem right there.
