Flippa Raises Fees

Featured listings went up from $29, to $40. The twitter option is now $80 (up from $50).

I thought the featured listings was moving too fast myself. It's a lot faster than it used to be, so perhaps this will slow it down a bit.

    Yeah that price increase for featured listings sucks. I guess I see what they are trying to accomplish, but all these fees really starts to cut into our profits.

    It's already $20 to list the auction and then however much the Flippa success fee is. You pretty much have to buy upgrades if you want people to see your auction (at least featuring). And on top of that, there's Escrow or Paypal fees in order to transfer the money.

    I think this is a good thing. I remember putting up one of my sites and it was gone in under 2 hours, way too fast and hardly got any views, this will weed out sites that shouldn't be up there in the first place.

    Yay! Inflation strikes again! I'm not really worried about the price increase. For those who know how to work Flippa, it's not a big deal. And if it does become unfair, there are loads of alternatives.
