Or if you are planning on having this site rank well in the search engines for a term related to what you sell, probably don't go with this idea. This name tells people absolutely NOTHING about what your business does or sells. You want people to have some idea from the name of your business as to what you offer - otherwise it is just wasted real estate...

No, I don't have a name in mind so I'm not just going to make up a silly one for the sake of it. I'm fairly certain with a piece of paper, a pen, and half an hour of scribbling you could come up with a fairly decent name that is a lot more on topic.

Correct. My mindset is based less on mascots and the like and more on actually getting people to buy your stuff. No offense but MREYN has nothing to do about nothing.

Here are some tips:

7 days is too long to be hung up on the same issue

Write a list of what your company will be doing/providing. Make it a specific list. The more specific the better. Then that list will give you ideas of what word/words sum up your business

Make a point to put a time limit on figuring out your name. Otherwise, this could go on for years.

Put the best names in a hat if you can't decide, and just pick one.

People make mistakes in this business. But you learn from mistakes. So, don't think this is the end of your career should the name you pick be the wrong name down the road. If that happens for some bizarre reason, then you go back and start again.
